Conscious thoughts on cars: Exhaust

“He kim,

That is a beautiful idea! The car that cleans the air.
But are they that bad?
I personally like gasoline and oil damp.
In the seller I keep a can of gasoline that I like to smell for a moment when I pass by.”

He Melle,

Thank you! What a beautiful answer and part of the solution.
I’ve come to learn in life through (Avatar) training and Life experence that appreciation of what is, is the key to transformation. When we appreciate something as our own creation, then the experience integrates and often it comes with insight and the possibility to change. This can be used to find new ways to improve and grow. As Ekara puts it, energy naturally tends to raise itself.

So apreciating gasoline and oil damp is definately one of the keys. But Melle, these smells are not the same as the exhaust that comes out of our cars. Do you like the smell of that as well? Sometimes I am amazed by the bluntness of car design. To put the exhaust out at the back, for somebody else to breathe. And then seeing in movies how people kill themselves by locking themselves in their cars with exhaust gasses that causes them to die. It would be more of a fairer trade to bring the exhaust directly into the car through the ventilation system. Probably many people would think that to be very cruel. But in a sense we are doing it everyday again to the one driving behind us.

Are there still people noticing how completely insane this is, when you think about it for a minute? “It’s not a measure of good health, to be well adjusted to a sick society.” Krishnamurti

It is true that nothing can truly harm us. Cigarettes aren’t bad for our health. It’s what we believe about them, what causes the problems. Because these believes create reality experience. This means that believing the warning in the package can cause more harm, then the cigarette itself. But we have to deal of quite strong collective consciousness and believesystems who strongly influence our personal reality experience still. So, essentially, exhaust gasses are not harmful. But! Collective consciousness believes they are, and as long as this is so, they are. And it takes quite some power to overrule that I guess. Masters have walked the earth, and they will again (aka you & me!) that could not be harmed by bullets. Because they recognize the bullet as Self in the moment it is fired. The bullets will diverge, not go at all, anything but harming this master.

But then still, when looking at the very primitive way of transporting ourselves in a system that finds it origines in not so sophisticated technology (at all!) that was invented some more than a hundred years ago. That takes 100’s up to 1000’s of kilograms of steel to transport 50 – 100 kilograms of body. Gridlocking themselves into traffic jams. Ever noticed the small amount of happy people you’ll find on the road?it’s so very clear here in Ghana in Accra. Aggressive driving. People pushing their way through. Jamming eachother, to be home a little earlier. Ever wondered what is done with the saved time by this? Probably something to relax (best case scenario) or ignore what is truly felt.

So, are they Truly bad? On the level of Who We Are, nothing can ever be. For it’s all part of us. And Self cannot hurt Self (only create that as an illusion). But since we have the ability to create anything. We might wonder if this is the most preferable one? Or if we like, just for the heck of it, to try something else.

That’s what I like about the possibility that you create with your carproject, Melle. To go to Ghana (Imagine how that felt, hearing that my very dear partner in Arts decide to go to Ghana, ‘coincidently’) and create your own car here. According to your own design with a group of students. Because you see that development aid needs to be reversed now. How people in Ghana are rich for being able to built their own houses and enormous creativity to do everything themselves because they lack the money. Well in the current economic situation, lacking money, might not be that bad at all. Since the whole dishonest system will go down anyway. Potentially, for it still causes too much suffering right now.

So, I’ll keep sharing my thoughts, feelings and insights to facilitate you in this one. Just let me know what you need to find out, and I’ll use my perspective to provide a piece of the puzzle.

I’ll dive into this ‘exhaust’ issue….

Rember this one we made Melle. We are already so close to the solution 🙂

A car that cleans the air: re-inventing the car

Reality creation by intention & Reverse Engineering

Let me start with Reverse Engineering.
This design strategy was explained by Sadie plant (in: Understanding media) where she wrote about Marshall McLuhan’s vision on this as follows:

“The process of beginning at the end of any operation, whatsoever, and of working
backwards from that point to the beginning, was not merely a discovery or invention to
be added to the list, it was: “The invention of invention itself.”

I have been using this principle myself in the project I graduated on at the art academy. Where I became aware of the, hardly used, possibilities of Virtual Reality. So I started at ‘the end of the operation’ by experiencing these virtual worlds that already existed. I noticed they were mostly based on copying reality. Created by people from a technical background. So often, to me, the technology was more advanced then the content.
I noticed how these Virtual worlds created reality experiences by projecting environments around me and moving them. So I got the impression that I was moving through them myself while I was never leaving the place. And at a technical level it were just coloured dots on a screen changing colors. Creating the impression of a projected moving environment. Now I am starting to understand this this process is similar to the way we create our reality experience as well. Always being in the same Here, creating the illusion of moving in a physical universe.

So, Reverse Engineering. It’s a profound method to find new ways. Very often innovations are done by copying something that already exists in a different way.
As a computer is a combination of a calculator, typewriter and tvscreen.
Which can still be seen in our current day computers. When we design a new computer, we’ll most likely start from this basic form again. Instead of reinventing it.
Even my ipad still has the ‘qwerty’ keybord (referring to the first few keys on it) that was created because typist became so skilled that they were to fast, and the typewriters often jammed. So they scrambled the letters to prevent this. (if I heard the true story about that)

The point is that we very often go on in existing lanes, instead of starting all over again in another way. Which can be very helpful to say the least. It offers us to set an intention to transform problems we found in our current lane. And use it to do better.

Now this is what I’d like to use when creating a new car.
Going back to the essence, (relatively!) effortlessly transporting one or more human bodies and goods I suppose.
And see what can be a way to do this better than we are doing this with our current cars.

Where our current cars can be a wonderful and powerful inspiration for what we do and don’t want in our new design. When we know what we don’t want, we can look into a different direction towards what we would prefer, with knowing What we know now. And in this we can be grateful for the problems we see, for they can become starting points for better. Acceptance & Gratitude are very powerful tools for change.

Because I have a strong feeling, that if it would be possible to move ourselves, comfortably, fast, anywhere we want to go in freedom, that most people prefer this. Instead of the traffic jamming, frustrating, oil consuming (and thus war creating), disturbing, polluting, killing vehicles that they are now. The only reason I can imaginevwe would not want to change this would be that we believe it cannot be done. Which is not true.

Well and there could be the excuse that oil companies might not like it. Well that’s too bad for them then. It’s up to them to make an honest turn with us or become the next dictator to be removed from this stage. The control and power that are demonstrated by them, are based on a false assumption of who all of us really are. Once ‘they’ awaken (& they will) they’ll realise they have made a mistake. Or to put it differently, we all created a shared experience that is ready to be changed in a better alternative for All of us.

So let’s turn the key to ignite our new engine!

cArt project

These thoughts and insights are dedicated to Melle’s car project that he sets out to do in… Ghana! And to me, that’s a very good sign. So may this be of some inspiration.

Some years ago someone with psychic abilities told me I would invent a new car engine. She told me how I am connected with the inventive consciousness of Einstein and Da Vinci. I know that people who can do this can ‘read’ potential future’s. One’s that are likely to happen. And of course it’s up to us to manifest it, or not.

The idea that I would invent a new engine seems impossible to a part of me. But I would love too. I know I can generate the consciousness to make it happen. And I know I’ll not have to do this alone, but also in this it can be all one.

Now some interesting things have been ‘happening’ in my life. As a child I once made a tram driven by horses, my mother told me. Because I was so fascinated by it. I always take this as a good sign that I’m on ‘my souls’ path’, when something comes up again that I already did as a child. For children know, they just do what they want to do. Especially in their early years. So, this tram and horse and cariage are ancestors of our everyday cars. Which can still be found in the term ‘horsepower’ to express the strength of the engine. The car… Also called the horseless cariage.
So the car as a result of a certain path of evolution. Or at least the evolution we are made to believe that took place. For far(!) more advanced societies have been existing here.

Well, when looking at our current day cars we can definately use some improvement when looking at pollution of the air we breathe, traffic jams, asphalting our nature out of existence in many places,… And I’m sure you could name a few as well.

So, awakening into our fullest possibilities would make cars unnecessary. Why travel by car, if you can project the consciousness that you are in any time and place you like? Never having to leave the place where you are, which is and has and shall always be Here Now. And from Here we have the possibility to experience any physical or non physical reality we choose to experience. Far fetched? Well we could also call it our true nature.

So one crucial aspect of creating a new car, for me, would becoming more conscious about who I Am. I’d like all I do in life to be supportive to this, anyway.
Haha! Moving from Highway to Anyway. Driving the Horizon. Which happens to be the meaning of my name, Kim, in Dutch as well 🙂

So this new car would never take you ‘there’…
It will always take you Here.

It coincides with an experience I had the day before. We were driving in the taxi, and I had been using Ho’oponopono and other healing techniques on the pollution of the cars that I was experiencing.

Now if I am experiencing them, this could only mean that in one way or the other, I am creating that experience. And that I can take responsibility for that. If I acknowledge and accept this, a process of transformation can be fueled with it. And I have learned that Life will offer me opportunities to create this if I so choose.

One day I attended a gathering and someone went outside to smoke a cigarette. I went out to get some relatively fresh air (in the centre of Rotterdam). I realised how smokers are getting more fresh air then non smokers. For they at least go outside to have a cigarette. I wondered if it would be possible to create a cigarette that cleans the air you breathe. A very appropriate thought since Rotterdam is part of one of the most poluted (air) areas in the world! Then I looked up and saw I sign across the street. It said ‘Lee Filter’ which I misread as ‘Leeffilter’ (Dutch for Lifefilter) and I realised that this would be a wonderful name for it. From this experience came the idea to create a car that cleans the air….
